What is Invisalign® for Children?
Invisalign First is an Invisalign treatment specially made for children aged 6 to 10. Visage Orthodontics is a Diamond Invisalign provider, treating at least 150 cases a year. The smooth and removable clear aligners are designed to help make room for your child’s current and incoming teeth.
As a removable treatment, the aligners won’t get in the way of your child’s regular eating and oral hygiene routines. Plus, the smooth plastic aligners won’t irritate your child’s cheeks and gums, and are a gentle introduction to orthodontic care.
How Invisalign First works?
Invisalign First works by expanding and contouring your child’s jawline through a method known as dental arch expansion. This gradually pushes your child’s teeth over time to increase the width of their dental arch.
Every Invisalign procedure at Visage Orthodontics begins with a free consultation, where our team of specialists will determine if your child is an appropriate candidate for Invisalign First. If they are, x-rays and digital scans will be taken of your child’s smile that same day. Information from these scans will be sent to an Invisalign lab, where an Invisalign First aligner will be custom-made for your child.
